A Father Who Fights the Fight / Kyler's Story

The longing to know the one we call Father begins somewhere for us all. Even when we aren’t looking or listening, His pursuit of us is incredible. Often, we will find the Father dwelling in His people. For Kyler, all it took was observing a client in the workplace to spark the curiosity of what Sonship would eventually mean to him. 

Religion was never a goal of his pursuit, but rather, the communal family that he’s found at C3 is what has helped him see Jesus every day. It was through different challenges in his life that Kyler discovered that God is not a distant God telling us what to do from a far. God is a Father who is faithfully by our side and fights for us on our behalf. 

As we await on what is to come for the new building of C3, Kyler believes that the family he’s found here will continue to reflect what would be the Batman signal for Fort Worth - A place of refuge, open arms, safety, and a forever reminder that goodness is our present reality and is on the way. It looks a lot like the character and nature of Jesus. 

When you meet Kyler, you will quickly learn that life with Jesus fills us with a joy we could never conjure up ourselves. Kyler’s life lived is a testament that we have a Father who loves to make his kids happy. It really is that simple. It really is that beautiful.
