Help Houston

We are closely tracking the impacts of Hurricane Harvey as it continues to affect our neighbors in Houston and surrounding areas. We have been in contact with several friends and organizations on how we can best help those affected by the storm. Below are a few different ways to help, including volunteering in Fort Worth as they set-up to house those displaced.

This will be an ongoing effort in Houston. The cost to rescue and then rebuild will be a long, hard process. We are committed to being there for as long as we can. Please consider how you will help over the long term.

Give Financially

This is a list of those we know and love who are doing their best to serve people directly affected. Know that any amount given will go to immediately and most effectively helping people.

Deliver Supplies

We will be sending a list of requested supplies to Beaumont on Saturday, September 23rd. Here is the list we have received. You can drop off items at 7005 Shauna Dr, North Richland Hills, TX.

  • Cots
  • Air mattresses
  • Hygiene items
  • Food
  • Baby items like diapers, etc.
  • Water and drinks
  • Snacks

You can find out more regarding who this is going to by going to Somebody Cares.

Serve Evacuees In Fort Worth

The City of Fort Worth is actively engaged in supporting relief efforts due to the worsening conditions associated with Hurricane Harvey and has activated shelters in our region for evacuees.

Visit fortworthtexas.gov to find out how you can help, including volunteering at local shelters, donating to the North Texas food bank, and delivering supplies to local Good Will stores.

Thank you church for making this a priority and making sure people see Jesus on every street and in every heart as we help those who are hurting.
